Contrary to previous generations of the HiLux, the 2016 model Hilux was offered in either a wide or narrow body design, achieved using the Sheet Metal of the Vehicle rather than an additional flare. The wide body models have additional 40mm of track both at the front and rear of the vehicle and the team at SmartBar has developed a new frontal protection system styled to accomodate both. Specifically designed for the 2015+ Toyota HiLux as a partial bumper replacement, the latest model of SmartBar's Vehicle Frontal Protection System (VFPS) perfectly complements the design and shape of the vehicle. The SmartBar maintains all of the factory accessories and all the while provides unparalleled safety. Designed to suit the WorkMate (including Low Rider), SR, SR5 and the Rogue, accommodating the facelift introduced in 08/2018. The SmartBar is engineered to be the lightest and safest VFPS available; offering even more protection and safety for HiLux owners and pedestrians.
